We work with a research company called Synexus. You may receive a letter from the surgery inviting you to take part in a clinical trial. These trials will be related to any medical conditions you may suffer from. You are not obligated to take part and can ask the surgery at any time to have your name removed from the search lists. The Clinical Relations Specialist who the surgery works with is fully compliant with data protection and patient confidentiality. If you receive a letter from us about Synexus and decide you would like to participate, please contact Synexus directly (their number will show on our letter). They will ask you sign a consent form allowing them to approach the surgery for medical information on you. If you decide that the study is no longer for you then you can withdraw at any time, you are under no obligation to remain on the study if you do not wish to.
No medical information will be given to Synexus unless you have consented to this.
